More Fish Pics and Easter Gifts

Caden loves his fish. I took this one last night. He spent most of his time laying on him or dragging the poor thing all over the living room.
Here is another one from yesterday morning. He had to have it sit with him to watch cartoons.
This is after he launched it across the floor.
Here it is mid-launch. Notice how he is gritting his teeth. It makes it go farther that way.Caden has gotten some really cute Easter things already this weekend.

Here he is with a box from Aunt Kay, Uncle Scotty, Bella and Lane! Check out that cute 'wrap' job. It had little stickers all over it and looked precious!
He got a bib from their trip to Hawaii and had to put it on right away. Even though he was trying to do it backwards! Then he got this super cute bunny! He was watching cartoons and was distracted but managed to open his mouth in excitement!Kari and Scott brought back a super cute necklace for me and some pure Kona coffee for Tim.From Mrs. Sarah, his daycare lady, he received this cute little green bucket with a basketball in it and some candy, bubbles and play dough. Caden had a blast pulling the stuff out and putting it all back in. It had these malted milk balls shaped like eggs and I was explaining to him that you eat them. He however was not a fan, he walked over to the pantry and opened the door, pulled out the trash can, dropped them in there and shut the door and was shaking his head no while walking away!

Fish

Tim had this fish in his office and brought it home for Caden. It is his new best friend! Caden was not too sure about it when Tim brought it in the door, but he quickly warmed up to him!

Itsy Bitsy Spider Part Two

First check out this video from last year of Caden having Daddy read his favorite book to him.
Here is an updated one from last night. Tim read the book to him and then was teaching him the word spider and how to make the 'p' sound. Check out Caden trying to do the 'p' and nodding his head just like Daddy.

Precious Little Feet

You all know how much I love little feet pictures. I got this one of Caden while he was having his dinner the other night.

Lunch with Grammie and her Flowers

Yesterday we headed over to Grammie's for lunch. We all went outside to see the fish after lunch and Caden had a blast running all over the back yard. Thanks for the wonderful lunch Grammie and the left-overs you sent us home with!

I loved these of him posing.
Otherwise he was always on the move of course.
I cannot believe he actually sat still long enough, but here we are together. My guys.

Pointing at an airplane that flew over. Here he is staring at the fish swimming around. The picture does not do the fish justice, but they are so pretty!

He loves watching the fish when he stands still long enough.

Who Knew?

Check out these photos of Caden. This was his first time to ever see a combination lock and it looks like he knew exactly how to work it!

'First, approach the lock and determine if it is open or not.'
'Next attempt to open it using the combination.''Ooops, got caught!'

The even funnier thing is that the person whom the lock belongs to, left the combination on the back of the lock and Caden pulled it off and handed it to Tim. We were dying laughing.

Play Date with Stetson & Aunt Jamie

Today Jamie and Stetson came over for a play date. We had a blast catching up and the boys had a blast playing. We are so blessed to have the Sarratts in our lives. We love you guys!

After we all had lunch at our home, we took the boys to the park to play. They had too much fun!

Here is Caden walking on this bouncy bridge. The child has no fear whatsoever! Here he is in a swing that was way too big for him. He was watching his buddy Stetson on the big boy swing.
Here they all are. Jamie looks gorgeous pregnant! Little Baby Sarratt is due in June!
Caden loves to slide and has no fear when it comes to that either. Never one to be without his water, here he is sliding down. Here are both boys ready to go down the slide. Stetson was so polite to wait on Caden to get back to the top of the slide to go down. Here they are coming down one of the million times! Here is Caden attempting to go up the rock wall. Here is Caden handing off his water to Aunt Jamie. Here he is taking another water break. Here is Stetson on this really cool contraption that you balance on.Here he is without the girl.Poor Caden is about a year or so away from playing on all the big boy toys Stetson played on.
Again with the water bottle! The child climbed up the stairs with it!
This was the best picture I could get of him close up. That child never stops moving.

Stetson is such a big boy. Earlier when we first got to the park, he walked right up to the rock wall and climbed all the way to the top. When Jamie told me he had done this, I had to get a video of it. Stetson is so well mannered also, I just have to say. His Mommy and Daddy have done such a great job teaching him his manners. He is so polite and has grown into such a fine young boy.

Not So Much...

Last night Mommy and Caden had a date night, with the Easter Bunny. If you will notice below, there are no pictures of the Easter Bunny. Wonder why? Well let me tell you. My precious child who is afraid of nothing, who runs all over the place jumping off of things landing on his head and gets mad if you try to pick him up thinking you'll surely be headed to the emergency room, is NOT a fan of Peter Cottontail. When I say not a fan, I mean the poor child screamed as if I were beating him when we got within 5 feet of him.

Here is a picture of him when we were in line and he caught a glimpse of 'the one that brings Easter goodies on Easter morning'.

'Mom, I know you're calling that thing an Easter Bunny, but he looks nothing like my stuffed bunny or the bunnies we see in our yard and unless you put this stroller in reverse, I will show you the true meaning of toddler meltdown.'

With that, I walked Caden up to the bunny and I even sat down with him and he was clawing my neck, turning red, screaming crying and ready to get the heck out of Dodge. We then decided to play in the play area of the mall.

'I'm outta here and there better not be any bunnies waiting to greet me on the other side.'

'Okay Mommy, I looked both ways. No bunnies in sight.'

'I would much rather crawl around the floor than sit with someone that has eyes bigger than my head.'

'See, now this is what I'm talking about. This is some sort of animal of which I can't identify, but it's not moving or waving or talking to me.'

I love this photo of him, it is as if he's posing.

'Now here's what I call fun Mommy...no more tears, just plain old fun. Can't you tell by my smile that this is way more fun than sitting with that Alice in Wonderland-scare the heck out of me-bunny?'

After we played in the play area we went upstairs for cookies and lemonade.

'I could have totally taken that bunny, but lemonade rocks and so do cookies.' 'Mommy, I promise I'll do better with Mr. Ears next time.'
