Mowing With Daddy

Caden was at it again this year with his mower trying to keep up with Daddy. Seems like just yesterday he was doing this: CLICK HERE. He is growing up so fast. He loves doing whatever Daddy is doing outside!

Easter

We had a wonderful Easter yesterday! We started out with gifts from the Easter bunny. Tim and I were already up and in the kitchen and Caden woke up and ran right out of his room and down the hall to find us. We told him to look behind him on the floor by his door to see the gifts!

He got lots of goodies from the Easter bunny. A Toy Story coloring book with 'magic' markers that only color on the pages, a chocolate bunny, some mini Cadbury eggs and a Mr. Potato Head.The child is fascinated with opening the foil Cadbury eggs and Mommy was so sad that he actually liked them! I was hoping he would hate them and I would have them all to myself! HA!Look at how excited he is that he got the foil off all by himself!Here he is showing it to Daddy!He liked his Mr. Potato Head too! He likes watching him on Toy Story!Then it was time for church. Here is our handsome little Caden. I thought he looked so cute!

After church we came home and relaxed and then Tim grilled some amazing blue cheese burgers. When Tim came back inside while the burgers were on the grill, he caught Caden in the media room watching Toy Story. Apparently he wanted to lay down so he turned the DVD player on its side so he could watch it better!

Happy Easter

Gi Gi and Poppa Came to Visit

GiGi and Poppa came for a quick visit since GiGi was on vacation this week. They arrived Thursday night after Caden was asleep for the night and left this afternoon. We had so much fun with them here and Caden cried a river when they left!

Here he is opening up his Easter gift from Auntie Kay, Uncle Scott, Bella and Lane. It is a Toy Story book with a magic drawing pad. He loves it and GiGi drew every single picture on the pad for him last night before bed time! Thank you Kari and Scott, he loves it!GiGi and Poppa got him some plastic eggs with candy in them, a Cars umbrella, Toy Story swim trunks and a Mickey Mouse short set, a bubble whistle and the below gift that is a Mickey Mouse Club House game! Goofy is the narrator for the game and you cover up Minnie, Mickey, Goofy and Donald! Caden loves pushing all the buttons!
He got this cute egg from Mary and Don who are great friends of ours from Mom and Dad's church. The egg talks when you push the button and there is a little chick inside that giggles. Caden loved giggling along with the little chick!
We were sad to see them leave this afternoon, but we managed after about 100 pictures, to get Caden to smile and sit still long enough for the one below!
Thank you all for coming up to visit! We will have to make sure you stay longer next time! We love you all so much!

Happy 38th Anniversary Mom and Dad

Happy Anniversary to the Best Parents in the World! We love you for the example you set for Kari and me growing up and the wonderful Grandparents you now are to our kiddos. We hope you have a fantastic anniversary and many, many more to come! We love you!

Kid Fest

Saturday Tim and I took Caden to church for Kid Fest. They had so many things for the kids to do! Caden had a blast but we all could have done without all the wind! Whew!

He loved the obstacle course!Here he is patiently waiting to go into the jump house. Sunday when we pulled into the parking lot at church, Caden was so sad that they had 'clean up jump house' and it was no longer there!
He had so much fun jumping around! Look at that face!
They had crafts set up in the gym so a sweet lady helped Caden make a cross necklace. He picked out the cross and the beads to go on it.
Caden took some foam stickers and made a cool picture as well.

The weather was perfect for grilling too! It was our first 'grilling' since the weather turned a bit warmer. After Caden's nap, Tim grilled burgers and we had sweet potatoes! DELISH!

R.I.P. Nike

We lost a great little pet on Friday last week. Nike had been with Tim for 14 years! Caden still asks about her saying, 'Where Nike go?'

To quote Tim: 'You were an awesome canine companion over the past 14 years with so many hilarious memories & all the crazy Jack Russell antics. You will be greatly missed little one.'
