I am so excited to have promoted to Ruby with Plexus.  My team and I have worked so hard for this one!

It's probably my favorite rank name so far with me being a July birthday!  Love me some rubies!

Dinner With Andrew

Andrew is such a cool guy. He worked as as a Skate Guard at the Dr. Pepper Stars ice rink in Plano when Caden was starting out in hockey. We have followed his career and he is headed to West Point in June to play Division 1 hockey. We are so proud of him!

He and his Mom met is for dinner in Nashville as he heads back to TX for a bit before heading to school. 

The boys love him and he's so great with them!

Bus Stop With Big Brother

Cameron wants nothing more than to be just like Big Brother!  He gets up when I get Caden up (although sometimes it would be easier on Mommy if he stayed in bed!) and he eats breakfast when Caden eats, etc.

He asked Caden if he could walk down to the bus stop (end of our driveway) to wait for Caden's bus to come.  Caden is so proud of his little brother and loves showing him off so of course he said YES!

Marshall's

Yesterday Cameron and I went to Marshall's to meet my friend Kelly and her son Rhett. It was the grand opening.  

I have to say I felt like we were in da club!  Good Lord!  Music was blaring, people were everywhere then there was the balloon guy. Thank goodness there were no clowns. He asked Cameron if he wanted a balloon animal or a balloon hat. He was super loud and of obnoxious just as you would expect a guy who makes a living making balloon animals to be. Cameron chose a frog that he could hold. Cameron is not one to be shy; ever, but this guy completely freaked him out.  Cameron held on to the back of my leg answering him from there!  

The guy was shouting over the music. It was chaos!  He even asked Cameron if he wanted him to make a balloon for his girlfriend (me). Really?!?  Ick

Anyway, here is the balloon frog!

Prince and Batdancing Cameron

Prior to Prince dying, my kids never knew who he was!  I know, I know, I've failed as a parent!

I DVR'd a block of tribute videos from him and Cameron happen to come in while I was watching 'Batdance' (my favorite video from him).  The original BATMAN movie was my favorite!  I loved Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson!  

Cameron started dancing so I had to capture it on camera.

Now Cameron wants to dress like Prince for Halloween! Mommy for the win!  LOL

Thanksgiving We4Iveys Style

We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving!  I cooked it all by myself with a little help from Cameron.

Luke the Elf

Luke the Elf is having so much fun here at the Ivey house!

He played a guitar and had his friend Snoopy play th piano!  He also took Caden's headphones and Ipod!

He reminded the boys of the real meaning of Christmas!

He spent the night in the refrigerator!

He wrote the boys a note about brushing their teeth!

He hung up hangers and the boys underwear!

He played Caden's DS!

He got into our marshmallows!

He wrapped our tree in toilet paper!

He zip lined!

We can't wait to see what else he gets into!
