Caden's Birthday Morning!!

The morning of Caden's birthday we decided to have cake and give him a big gift!

Here he is coming down the hall to see what he was going to get!
What could it be???????
 Furiously opening the package!
A new composite hockey stick!  He was so excited!
It is called a Rocket Ball stick.
Time for cake, we cannot believe he is already 5!
 Blowing out the candles!

Fun with Sprinklers!

We are very much into Silly Face Pictures nowadays!

There we go, that's our smile!
Awe man!  The neighbors' sprinklers came on.
Should I leave the bike and come back later?
Nah, I can brave the sprinklers!
In fact, I will just run through them and enjoy it!
...and ask Daddy to turn ours on and play in them too!
 Look at those ribs!
 Our All American Cade Man!

Bath Time!

Daddy bathed Cameron and snapped the cutest pictures of him!

Look at those big blue eyes!
Concentrating on bath play!
 Teething on bath toys!
Again with the eyes!
 LOVE THOSE EYES AND CHEEKS!

Crazy Hair Cam

Cameron woke up with some crazy hair so we had to get it on camera!  Love our crazy haired Cam!
Back view!

Playing with Big Brother!
Here folks, are the steps to standing up!

Step one:  Crawl to your magazine rack
Step two:  Get up on one leg
Step three:  Stick your tongue out, you have now accomplished standing up!

Plano Dallas Stars Center RE-Opening

I am doing my best to catch up the blog!  I'm so far behind!  We are on a break from hockey so I have more time to catch up now!

Back in July  the Dallas Stars Center in Plano reopened after being closed for awhile.

Here's Caden in front of a blow up Stars balloon out in front of the center.

This is Ralph Strangis the Dallas Stars announcer.  He is the BEST announcer in the NHL.  Just saying!
Time for the ribbon cutting!  Caden's favorite part was getting to see the belly button girls!  a.k.a. Ice Girls
Here is Caden watching some Dallas Stars Alumni playing.
Cameron and his favorite trick he learned.

L.O.V.E. Our Boys

I love our boys!  They are so precious and Caden is such a fabulous big brother!  On the rare occasions when Cameron will fuss, all Caden has to do is talk, sing or act silly and the fussing ceases!

Here we are in my car waiting on Tim at the gym!

Cameron

We cannot leave out the little guy!

Caden's birthday party theme was pirates and the balloon was the last decoration to bite the dust!

We had it taped on a chest behind the dining table and Cameron loved playing with it!

I took this pictures of my smiling monkey at the gym while we were waiting on Daddy to get there.  This was his first time in jeans!

He was having quite the bad hair day earlier in the week, so I had to get this picture!

Homework!

I am fairly positive we did NOT have homework in Kindergarten!  Caden seems to enjoy it, not sure how long that will last! :)

His first 2 assignments were due the following Tuesday so we got to work!

The first one involved coloring a train and then placing the capital letters in one car and the lowercase letters in another one.  Such a cinch for my little guy!

The second one involved him practicing typing his log in and password for his computer so he can work and check out books in the library!  Trust me when I say it was no small task!  We are talking, letters (lowercase and uppercase), symbols, periods, etc!  He was such a pro after some practice though!

Welcome Week

The 2nd week of school was Welcome Week and there was a wardrobe theme each day!

Here is Aloha Day!

Cap day:  He's sporting his Dallas Stars cap and shirt!
Favorite TEAM day:  Again with the Dallas Stars!
The last day was Spirit Day so he wore his Hughston Elementary Mustangs t shirt!

Our Kindergartener!

When did Caden grow up???  We cannot believe he is already in Kindergarten!  In preparation for the big move, his school hosted a 'picnic'!  Indoors, thank goodness!  Caden and I headed to the cafeteria and there were all sorts of stations set up.  We stopped at the craft table and he made this little punch out Advent Calendar counting down the days until school started!

Here he is having his sandwich in the cafeteria!
Also that week was Meet the Teacher!  We headed to school again and he got to meet Mrs. Lundberg.  Here she is showing him his very own locker!  He was so excited to get a LOCKER!

Time for the First Day of School!  He jumped right up when it was time!  Here is our Kindergartener!
 Mr. Cool outside his school!
Here he is at his locker!
He sat right down and got to work!
Caden and Mrs. Lundberg!
