A Visit from GiGi and Poppa
Mom and Dad came to visit us in TN and we had the best time!!
I found a Groupon for a place called Cowboy Town which was just a short drive from our house. We all loaded up and headed for the Cowboy Town.
They had a Cowboy 'Town' that even had a saloon! Here is Cameron on a saddle in the saloon! Miss Kitty took our tickets and directed us outside to play!
Here is my Dad teaching Caden how to throw a rope. It made my heart happy to see Dad teaching him to do this. If I had a dollar for every time I saw Dad throw a rope catching cows growing up I'd be a millionaire!
Here is Caden practicing what Poppa taught him!
Cameron of course had to get in on the action so Poppa taught him too!
He got it!
What a natural! LOL
Cameron had fun talking to the cow!
'Here's my rope!'
Daddy got in on the action as well! Look at that lasso!
Everywhere Cameron goes he attracts butterflies. I'm convinced he sweats pure sugar water! Here he is talking to a butterfly that landed on GiGi
After the roping lessons we sat down for a Wild West Shootout! It was fun to see the characters and hear the shooting!
My husband and Mother thought it would be hilarious to tell them it was my birthday. It was NOT my birthday however! They visited us the week of July 12th! They were singing to me and I just kept saying 'It's not my birthday!'
While GiGi and Poppa were here, Caden had to go to the dentist. He did great!!!
Caden also earned a Game Ball from Coach Brian at the game GiGi and Poppa came to watch!
We visited Gaylord Opryland where Tim works and toured them around.
Poppa also taught Caden how to fish! We had so much fun fishing while they were here. I love this picture of them.
GiGi, Cameron and myself were picking blackberries and watching our guys through the woods. Love this picture as well.
While they were in town we hit up some more fishing spots!
We visited the Jack Daniels Distillery which was super fun! Here is Caden with Jack Daniels himself!
Mom discovered some relatives of hers were buried just 30 minutes from our house so Mom and I headed to the cemetery to see the tombstones. So interesting!
I took Mom and Dad to the Ryman Auditorium for a tour which was really cool. Amazing to be standing where such great artists stood and performed!
We miss them terribly and cried for a long time after they left. Cannot wait to see them again!

My First Birthday in TN!
Well I turned 37 this year. It sounds so old in my head... :|
Tim did an amazing job on getting my cake! Red Velvet and it was delicious!!!
I had my big helper to blow out the candles with me. It is his favorite part of birthdays!
I got lots of goodies for our trip to FL!
Clothes, shoes...it was a great birthday!
We went to dinner at a lakefront restaurant called Barefoot Charlie's and it was amazing! Here I am on my birthday at dinner with my 3 favorite guys! Daddy was of course taking all the photos.

More Summer Fun
With me home this summer, we tried to do lots of fun things!
We headed to the library for Caden to get a library card and some books! It was super sunny this day!
Here he is with his new book bag filled with books!
Having moved to TN before Caden finished Kindergarten in TX, we missed getting his yearbook. My friend Jennifer grabbed his for him and mailed it to us. Here is Caden checking out his Hughston Elementary yearbook.
He found himself in it right away!
School picture.
One of the days over the summer we headed to Chick Fil A and got lunch and ate outside on the patio.
Cameron enjoying his fries!
Caden having his lunch!
After lunch I told them to face the woods and not to turn around. I then had them turn around and I sprayed them down in their clothes! Oh the horror! It was all I could do to spray them down while they were dressed! Those of you who know me know I like order, and this was wayyyyy out of my comfort zone! LOL
Caden 'guiding' Cameron into the stream of water!
Love this picture of him getting some water!
After playing outside they were exhausted and hopped into their pj's to relax! I love summer days!

Our Iron Pig and Piglet!
Caden enjoyed playing for the Iron Pigs this summer. We made great friends from that team.
Here he is before a game.
Cameron was the dugout mascot. He played with Caden's hat while he was wearing his helmet and took Daddy's glove out and played with it too.
After one game we headed to Burger King for lunch. I can tell you with certainty he is his father's son! LOL

More June Happenings
In the neighborhood we are renting in this year, they have a community pool. We checked it out a few times over the summer.
Here's Cameron catching some rays!
Riding tall!
This was just before another visit! Caden wanted me to take a picture of them.
My sweet silly boys!
Caden lounging! (in the shade!) LOL
I mentioned earlier in a post about VBS. Well these pictures are from College Heights Baptist Church. I had just picked him up and we headed to Kroger. He was sporting his crown he had made!
Loving on his big brother! Cameron loves to give love!
He is quite entertaining as well!
Look at this face!
Here is Caden wearing his tie dye shirt he made at College Heights.
We decided to take Caden to see Monsters University so our wonderful babysitter Miss Bethany came over to watch Cameron.
Here is Caden wearing his Monsters shirt.
In front of the movie poster.
He was so excited it was in 3D. Here he is with Daddy..
