Caden's School Program

I had a blast at Caden's school program.  The theme was:

They sang songs about everything that they do in Kindergarten.  It was sooooo very cute!

Caden had me buy him some sunglasses because he said he needed to wear sunglasses and a cap for the final song.  I loved that just where I picked to sit happen to be in perfect position to watch him strut his stuff!  I think he did great!

When he came home, we had a surprise for him.  Although Daddy was unable to go, Caden got a goodie bag full of Mario toys and candy and a Dallas Stars balloon!  Great job Caden!

Staging to Sell

As I mentioned in another post, Mom helped us get the house ready to sell.  The realtor suggested we switch the playroom to the sun room and make our 'playroom' a sitting area.  Wow, what an undertaking that was!

We listed the house on a Thursday morning and had 32 showings between Friday and Sunday and 4 offers that same weekend!  We are happy to report that we close on April 4th and will be leaving Texas on Saturday, April 6th for Nashville!

A Note for Daddy

 Caden wrote this for Daddy on the VERRRRRRY cold day that we were having our garage sale!

Valentine's Day

Mom came up to help us stage the house and get ready to list it.  We had a great time despite staying up until after 2 a.m. each night.

Mom, as Tim and I told you, we COULD NOT have done any of this without you!  You and I rocked it!  We had an awesome garage sale and sold almost $500 worth of junk!

GiGi brought us a cookie cake for Valentine's Day and it was delicious!

Daddy was very sneaky and left presents and cards for the boys for Valentine's Day so they could open them while he was in TN.

After dropping Caden off at school it was time for Cameron to open his gift from Daddy!  It was a monkey!  Of course!

Daddy Got the Job!

Well Tim got the job at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville!  He is the new Assistant Director of Safety/Security!

Unfortunately Tim had to report to Nashville on February 11th!

Stars Practice and Stars Game

In January we took Caden along with another couple and their son Brady (who plays hockey with Caden) to a Stars practice in Frisco.  The boys had so much fun seeing REAL hockey players!

 #21 Louis Eriksson  Caden's favorite player Jamie Benn had not re-signed with the Stars as of the day we went to the practice, so I think by default Caden has made Louis his favorite now!
