We Lost Our First Tooth

Caden has had  a loose tooth since July of this year!  Yes JULY!  Well it decided come out with a little help from little brother Cameron!

I was on the computer in the playroom with my back to the boys and I hear a loud sound.  I turn around and Caden has a mouthful of blood!  I thought he had busted his lip and then he started talking differently and I realized his tooth was gone!  Cameron had bashed him in the mouth with a plastic Mickey Mouse toy!  (that was the loud sound)  After searching for the tooth for about 5 minutes, we finally found it under the couch!  Thank goodness!

After Caden calmed down, we helped him rinse his mouth and then it was time to get ready for the tooth fairy!
We placed the tooth in the pirate tooth treasure box!

He dictated a letter to me that I wrote to the tooth fairy.  He asked me to write it because I could write 'faster'.

The note says:
Dear Tooth Fairy, you are so nice.  I love you very much.  I like it when you give kids a dollar and me a dollar.  I like you.  You are very kind and you are very magical like Santa.  I think you should be one of Santa's helpers!  Love, Caden Ivey

The tooth fairy only had a dollar or a ten dollar bill in her magical wallet.  :\  This was the first tooth Caden lost so it was special enough for a $10 bill!  Oh by the way, 6 year old boys are unimpressed with magical fairy dust glitter too. :\  She tried!

Here is Mr. Happy this morning with his $10 and he letter from the tooth fairy!

It seems like only yesterday when I was posting this!

Cameron was a big helper to Caden! This is a great story to remember.
