Future Hockey Player

Caden was in need of some long sleeved t-shirts for this Fall/Winter. I got the one he is wearing today from Target.
It's a Paul Frank shirt with a hockey monkey on it! Notice the missing tooth and black eye!Long lashes from his Mommy....
Daddy and Caden acting silly! This is their 'surprise' face!
And one more just for grins!
We attempted to get Caden to sit in Mommy's lap for a picture, but he insisted on sitting beside me. I love that I'm all posing and smiling and he's giving me 'the look.' I think 'the look' comes from Daddy!
Last year Caden was scared of the scarecrow. He would run up to it and jingle the bells around the neck and then bolt. This year he is still a little gun shy of our 3 foot friend. He was poking him with his firetruck this morning.
Here he is running from the scary scarecrow!
Caden loves giving Daddy big hugs when he leaves for work.

Fall Party at Mother's Day Out

Today is Caden's party at Mother's Day Out, so I got to snap some pictures of him before we left.
Here he is pointing to his 'Calmeees'...a.k.a. pumpkins. We have no idea how the two words are related, but that's what he calls them!Picture perfect pose!
He picked this pumpkin out by himself and loves it.
I love this picture of him, kind of an evil grin mixed with our precious Caden's smile!
For the first time ever, he got upset when I put the camera away. I walked back into the office to put it up and he started saying, 'Mommy! Camera! Camera!' So I took it out and then he posed below.
Here he is dancing for the camera as we were about to leave. He keeps us laughing!

Visit with Poppa and GiGi

Tim, Caden and I went to Conroe this weekend to visit with the family and to get some firewood for the fall/winter.

After we got to GiGi and Poppa's, they gave Caden his Halloween gift. Here he is opening up his bag of goodies! He got a Hot Wheels fire truck and a Hot Wheels snow plow, candy and a light up pumpkin necklace that he LOVES!Poppa introduced Caden to a Snickers bar.
'Wow...this chocolate is amazing!'
Check out this face! Poppa was laughing as Caden devoured that candy bar! It was a hit!
Here he is with GiGi and Poppa opening up his fire truck.
Thank you GiGi and Poppa for such cute gifts! We love you both and can't wait to visit again!

Wood 'WORK'

Tim and I helped Dad split a TON of wood up for the winter. We both had so much fun enjoying the beautiful weather and talking with Dad as we 'split'. We stopped only for lunch when Kari, Scott, Bella and Lane arrived. Mom cooked a wonderful spaghetti dinner with yeast rolls, chocolate sheath cake and ice cream! YUMMY!

Here I am working the lever that pushed the wood to the end to split it. Caden played inside with GiGi for a while and then they decided to come out and join us. Here is Caden on a mini 4 wheeler driving around Mom and Dad's place. He had so much fun driving all by himself, except when Mommy had to steer him away from hitting trees and such!
Here he is driving around like he owned the place!
Back to splitting they went. We split all the wood up and hauled a truckload back. Thanks so much Dad!

Fall Festival

All of us headed to Mom and Dad's church Saturday night for their Fall Festival. The theme was an old west theme and the kids had such a great time!

Caden is dressed as Brobee from Yo Gabba Gabba. The hat with Brobee's face on it lasted about 5 minutes. The rest of the time Caden ran around in just the costume.

Here he is in a train they had set up in the gym for pictures. He had so much fun climbing in and out of it.
Here is Bella the Lady Bug, Lane the soldier and Caden as Brobee in the stage coach!
Kari dressed as 'White Trash'! She was dressed in all white with a garbage bag around her and looked so cute!!! GiGi had her festive Halloween top on and I was dressed as a 60's chick.
A local fire department sent firemen out to show the kids the firetruck and how to work the hose. Here is Lane shooting water from the hose as Caden looked on.
Even Bella got in on the fire hose action!
Lane got to push the siren on the fire truck which scared the pants off Caden!
They each got their very own fire hats! Caden played with his all the way home to Dallas on Sunday.
Bella and Caden jumped in a jump house and had so much fun! They would fall down and giggle so hard!
Here is Cowboy Caden posing for a picture!
GiGi and her little Cade Man walking around checking out the festivities outside of the gym.
Caden tried out the bean bag toss and found it much easier to just walk up to the pumpkin and throw the bag in rather than standing back to 'toss' it.
After the festival we headed to Kari and Scott's to spend the night. While the guys watched a UFC fight, we let the kids open up their Halloween gifts from each other. Caden was so excited to get a Mickey Mouse activity book, pumpkin bubbles, candy, erasers, a pencil and Mickey Mouse socks! Thank you Aunt Kay, Uncle Scott, Bella and Lane!
Here they are digging around in their loot!
We had such a great weekend and cannot wait to see you all again! We love you so much!

Choo Choo!

Here is our little Conductor Caden! He loves trains and loves walking around saying, 'Chicka, Chicka, Chicka CHOO CHOO!' I was trying to get a cute picture of him looking at the camera and he'd say, 'No Mommy.', and smile, then look away. Oh well, I did my best!

U2 Concert (UPDATED AT THE BOTTOM)

Here we are in the limo on the way to the concert. It was nice not having to drive or pay a bazillion dollars to park!
Tim and I had such a great time at the U2 concert last night! That was one of my top bands to see 'before I die'! They did not disappoint at all. I have loved U2 since I was probably 10 or 12 years old. They are amazing live!

Here is the stage before they started. It looked like some type of space ship landing pad or something! Let the concert begin! The lights were amazing on the stage! You can actually see Bono singing on the screen in this picture. The stage was so tall that Cowboy's Stadium had to raise the huge screen to accommodate it! Click HERE.Here we are in our seats! I had a perma-grin on my face all night long! I sang along like I was up there rocking the mike along side of Bono!
I loved the special effects the stage had as well. There was one screen that unfolded and looked like it was in pieces. Hard to explain, but they are definitely up on all the latest and greatest technology. With several encores after the main concert, we were very excited to have gone to see them!

Here we are during the concert!

Thank you Sara for keeping Cade Man! I know he had a great time having a slumber party at your house playing with Jack! We love you!

This is not our video, but it is a super clear video from last night's concert. Love this song!
