Happy New Year

We hope you all have a Happy New Year. Caden rang in the New Year tonight before bedtime with some sparkling grape juice and a party hat!
Here are some cute shots of my little guy with myself and GiGi before we left for church.
GiGi and Poppa got Caden a life-size Mickey Mouse to play with. Caden loves it and drags it everywhere.

Rancho Grande

Caden and I headed back down to Conroe to visit some more after Christmas. Mom, Dad, Caden and I went to a Mexican restaurant named Rancho Grande. They had a guy playing a guitar so Dad asked him to come over and sing to Caden. As you can tell by the video, Caden loved it!

Here is a picture of Caden on the horse at the restaurant too!

Christmas Day

We had a very relaxing Christmas Day. Christmas morning Caden had his Santa gifts. He got a bouncing ball that he can hold on to from Santa as well as a car to push around, some shoes, pj's and a Mickey Mouse toy.
Here he is teething on Mickey Mouse toy.
He almost has the jumping ball figured out. He mostly rolls all over it now, but he'll learn! That afternoon we headed over to MiMi and Granny's house to open gifts and visit.

Caden had such a great time playing ball with MiMi's brother, Mike.

Here is MiMi opening up her hand print gift from Caden.Granny with Caden.

Christmas Eve with Grammie

I am sorry for the delay in posting, but after we got back from my parents house for Christmas, Caden and I decided to go back down on Friday and stay a few days. Let me catch you all up!

Grammie kept Caden over night on the 23rd so they had a great time before we came to meet up on Christmas Eve. Just like at my parents' house, Santa had to have stopped several times!
Here is Caden with the book and the talking Bear that Grammie got him. The bear read The Night Before Christmas. Caden kept pushing it throughout the time we opened gifts so I think we all have it memorized now!
What do you think? Does he love his Mommy?Daddy with the video camera.
Caden is not a fan of the gloves Daddy got. Maybe it's the O.J. thing...who knows....
Grammie had a gift bag that actually played a Christmas song. Here is Grammie playing it for Caden one of a million times that night.
The family with all the goodies spread around.

Thank you for a wonderful Christmas Eve Grammie. We love everything we got!

Christmas with the Nichols

We had our Christmas with my parents and family this past few days and here are all the shots we got. We had a great time and got lots of goodies!

We all went to church Sunday morning and we got some great photos during and afterwards.

Here are the boys crawling up the steps at church. It was so funny to watch Caden play with Lane even though he is older than Caden. Caden had a blast!

The Sistas.
' I thought you said there was suppose to be a baby in this manger.'
'I know I heard right when Mommy read me the Christmas story, but I don't see no baby!'
'Too many kisses!!!! I can't breathe!' Here are the kids after church.
The Iveys
GiGi and Poppa with the grand babies!
The Reaves, Iveys and Nichols
Bamber with the babesBamber with Miss Priss
The Choir did a Christmas program and GiGi had a solo! She did a great job.
Sunday night we headed back to church to visit with Santa and play.
I cannot believe Caden actually turned around, posed, and SMILED!
Here is Caden and Daddy watching the big boys play basketball.
4 generations: Caden, Dad, me and my grandmother
I cannot wait to show this to his future wife.
I thought maybe if I sat in Santa's lap that would show Caden he was not a bad guy. Yeah, not so much... Lane with the big guy!
All the kids gathered around Santa in this photo. Well all but Caden who stood by Mommy in the snow and watched from a distance!
Monday night we had Christmas at Mom and Dad's.
Lane got a real light sabre and was showing it off to us! Notice Tim and Kari's faces, hoping they weren't going to get the 'force' smackdown on their heads!
I would love to have this little gift under my tree!
Avery is the baby girl with a million expressions. Check this one out when she opened her puppy from GiGi and Poppa!
Caden and Daddy acting silly!
Caden was so interested in Avery's baby doll we got her and she was so interested in the vacuum cleaner Caden got from Scott and Kari. It was too funny!
We of course had to get pictures of the kids under the tree among all the presents. I just snapped away and did not realize how funny the pictures were until I downloaded them!
Caden is wondering why Avery gets to play with the ball AND the bracelet.
Here is Caden trying to put a gift tag on Avery's head.
Caden was more interested in running around the living room rather than opening up his gifts! Here is Tim trying to show him the clothing he got as a gift!
I think Santa stopped several times at GiGi and Poppa's house! Look at all those gifts! One tired little guy before we left to come back home to Plano.
