Cade Man

Caden had a lot of fluids today but he is not back to his normal ounces of milk just yet. Grammie came over tonight to check on Caden. Thanks for dinner Grammie. Here are some pictures of the little man from tonight.

Caden's new 'trick' is to hold whatever he has in his hand, or just his hand, up to his ear when you say 'Hello!' to him.

Gatorade Day

I am home with Caden today. I took him to see the Dr. and the Dr. said he has a little viral infection so we are going to be drinking lots of Gatorade today and getting lots of rest!

Poor Little Guy

Well #7 is popping through on the bottom, so we have not been a happy camper this week.

'I drool buckets when I'm teething.'

'Mommy and Daddy put cabinet locks on this one. I'm not suppose to touch it.'

'But to illustrate how well the locks work, I'm touching it.'

'On to my 2nd job.''I go to daycare by day, but by night, I'm in the furniture moving business.'

Look at that Face!

Daddy hung out with Caden while I went with Pat last night for the jewelry party thing. Check out this face that Daddy caught with the camera....it is the picture of innocence.

Jewelry, Purse and Cross Party

Tonight I went with my mother-in-law to a lady's house who was hosting a party with jewelry, purses, crosses, etc. Check out this cross I got for our cross wall at home! I love it!

Teething Again...

Today I picked Caden up and he fussed all the way home...totally not normal. We played for a little while and he continued to fuss. I got his dinner ready and he literally ate 3 bites at the most. So I changed his diaper and he was burning up! 101.8 and he has been gnawing on his fingers again. Poor little guy. We gave him some Tylenol and I took him for a short stroller ride to change up the scenery. He was super tired tonight when bed time came, so we are hoping he has a restful night. He looks like this because I was trying to cool him off. I don't normally let my child run around like he doesn't own clothing!

Almost Disaster

So this morning as I was getting ready to make pancakes we almost had a disaster! Tim was on the computer in the office and Caden was in the kitchen in a little white onesie, barefooted. I was getting the coffee pot ready and Caden opened a cabinet door...shocker. He pulled out the above Pyrex and it crashed onto the floor, glass went everywhere. In that split second I thought, 'If I run to him, he'll run at me and cut himself!' Tim jumped from his office chair and ran up behind him and snatched him straight up. Thankfully Caden had his back to Tim and did not know he was coming after him. When Tim jerked him up it scared him and he was crying his eyes out because of being scared. I am telling you it could have been horrible. Especially if I were home alone, because I know Caden would have took off running to me which would have been the worst thing that could have happened. Tim put him in the jumper and we got it all cleaned up but not before Mommy got cut on the finger! Oh well...better me than Caden's little feet!

Happy 1st Birthday Jamisen Cox!

Tonight we went to Jamisen's 1st birthday party! We had such a great time! Great food and fun! Caden had so much fun playing with Jamisen.
