Daddy's Home! Daddy's Home!

Tim was able to come home for part of Caden's Spring Break which was great!  Caden has missed him so much!

Here are the boys 'Happy Happy Happy' that Daddy was coming home!
We got to the airport super early so Cam was practicing his driving skills while we waited for Daddy's plane to land.  I got ZERO pictures of Tim greeting the boys because I was holding Cameron and was caught up in the moment they saw him!

We took the boys to the park to fly kites and Caden had a blast!  It was his first time and he did great!
Here is Tim showing him how to hold the kite!

 Daddy and his boys!

Caden barely let Tim leave his sight the entire time he was here.  Every time Tim went outside or to run an errand, Caden was with him.  It was such a great visit!  Let the countdown begin!

Visit and a Birthday Celebration!

We made it to Conroe and I just felt a rush of relief.  There is just something about being at Mom and Dad's that relaxes me!

When Tim saw this picture of Lane and myself having popsicles he even said, 'you look relaxed'.  The pressure of the week I had was over, I was home.

I cannot tell you how many times I've sat at my parents' bar and had food that Mom baked or cooked and just chatted.  All the stress just melts away.  I even taught Lane his colors as a baby with Fruit Loops on that counter!

He is so grown up now!  :(
GiGi of course made brownies and the little ones had to have brownie batter on spoons as a treat!

Bella and her chocolate mustache!

 Silly Caden and his!
 Lunch at GiGi's bar!
We headed to a Mexican restaurant to celebrate GiGi's birthday.  Here are the kids all gathered around her phone playing tic tac toe!
Cameron taking a call during dinner on Auntie Kay's phone!
Someone at the table arranged for this little stunt for GiGi!

 The aftermath!
Then off to the Reaves' house for presents and cake!

 GiGi and her little honeys!
 Candles time!
GiGi and Poppa with the grankids!
We had a wonderful time down in Conroe!  It was so nice to just reset from all the stress!

Breaking Point!

I wanted to take the boys to Conroe for one final visit before we move in April.  So I decided I'd take them on Friday the 8th or Thursday night the 7th.

At work Angie texted me to say that Cameron woke up with a fever from his nap.

So I left work and picked him up and headed to the Dr.  This was by the way the same day that Caden had his Open House/Scavenger Hunt at 6:30pm!

Here is my sick little guy on the way to the Dr.  You can see it in his eyes he was not well.  The diagnosis was strep so off to CVS we headed.

Here he is at the Dr.  He was just miserable.
I called Jamie and as a best friend would, she said she would come over to watch Cameron while I took Caden to the Open House.  I was a wreck, super sad at leaving Nashville behind, don't get me wrong, I was happy to come home to my boys, but missing Tim really bad.  Facing the reality of heading to Conroe for the last time for a while, Cameron had strep...I was falling apart!

Jamie arrived and Caden and I headed to his school.  I told him we might leave that night (Thursday) because I thought Cameorn might sleep on the drive down.  Well after Jamie left, I walked in and found Caden completely out.  She literally had not been gone 5 minutes.  Then I started praying that he didn't have Strep too!

After getting Cameron up to feed him, I decided I better wait until the next day to go to Conroe.  I mean, he was going to be sick there or sick here and at least leaving the next day would be 24 hrs on his meds which made him not contagious!

He was so miserable...Mom suggested I put a cool rag on top of his head.
Look how red his cheeks were!  I felt sooooo sorry for him.

We headed out the next morning, but not before Cameron's finger got shut in the bathroom door!  Poor Caden thought he was doing the right thing by closing it to keep him out of there, but alas, another accident.  Poor Cam was screaming crying, Caden was bawling just as hard and as my car was loaded and running ready to head to Conroe, I broke down as well.  Holding my boys, missing Tim...emotions were nuts!

He had a banana after calming down and we were off!
Banana all over his face, but I didn't care, he was asleep!

Fun and House Hunting

I flew out to Nashville to hang with Tim and have some fun and then look for houses.

It was so much fun getting to see 'his' new city and meet all his coworkers and tour his office.

One of the nights we walked the streets of Downtown Nashville and had a blast.  Here is the 'Batman' Building.

He got tickets to the Grand Ole Opry and we had so much fun watching that as well!

Josh Turner!

 Montgomery Gentry!
 Blake Shelton!
We found a house in Station Camp/Creekside area which is in the city we are wanting to build/buy, in Hendersonville.  We fell in love with the neighborhood that has a splash pad, pool and the school is super close.

Here is our new home for a year until we build or buy!
I brought back a toy for Caden and Cameron.  Caden thought it was cool that I flew a Southwest Airlines plane and brought one back for him.
Daddy and I also bought him a Nashville Predators jersey.  Mom took this picture of him as I was pulling it out of my suitcase!

 Tada!
He loved it and wore it seriously to bed 2 nights in a row and to school!
 My reward!
I had a great time with Tim and am glad that the countdown is on!  Ready to be together with our We4Iveys!
