I know, I know it's 6:30 AM

But I woke up and I am totally pain free! I got out of bed all gingerly thinking I'd have the usual bolt of pain and NOTHING! I am soooooooooooooooooooooo happy! I woke up around 6:00 AM and was like, 'Hey Tim, what sounds good for breakfast?' He looks at the clock like, 'WHAT?!' So I got up, drove to Shipleys and brought home donuts for everyone! I have all this energy! I know it is from the 'roids' but I don't care! I feel fantastic! I feel like I'm Queen of the World!

Lumbar Rhizotomy

Well I am home and I feel okay. My appt was at 2 and I had to be there at 1. They did not get started on me until about 2:45 because of an 'issue in the O.R.'! Anyway, they put me under while they placed the needles in my back, and slowly brought me out so that I could tell them when I felt that the needle was in place. That was odd! No pain though it was just pressure like someone pushing on me. Then came the fun part...they turned up the radio waves and then my legs started pulsating! Very strange feeling! Anyway, one thing I was not aware of that I am now is that Dr. Bierig did the right side today and I go back next week for the left side. He only does one side at a time in case there is residual pain and swelling. He does not want my pain to be doubled by him doing both at once. Mom came up early this a.m. so she is entertaining Cade Man as I am not suppose to lift him today. I will keep ice on it off and on for as long as I can and then I should have pain tomorrow and then be pretty much good to go! Thank you so much for all the prayers!

GiGi and My Breakfast

Caden typing here...GiGi came to visit me, I know she says she was here to help Mommy out, but I think she came to play with me! Here we are this morning after I woke up from my nap...I was having cereal and fruit and the last picture is of her giving me a puff!

If I Don't Look at Mommy She Won't See Me

I was looking for Caden and found him in front of the sunroom door. I said, 'Come on Caden, let's go get dressed.'

I think this is what he was saying back to me:

'If I don't turn around she won't see me...

'Hey Mommy, I'm just playing...let's go get dressed...'

Happy 9 Month Birthday Caden!

I feel like we are wishing him Happy Birthday every week! 9 months, where did the time go? We are reminded daily of how blessed we are to have our little Cade Man in our lives.

Big Boy Booster Chair

Caden graduated from Bumbo to the Big Boy Booster chair for eating! He's growing up! Here are a few pics from last night.

I am convinced that babies that are teething do very strange things...check out Caden's new thing...(if you are offended by the noise, my apologies...no, never mind, I'm not apologizing, it's cute!)

The Secret Society of the Rug Lifters

I am convinced that my son belongs to this secret society. I think they all get together and dream up ways to make their mothers think they are nuts! It's the same society that teaches everyone to pick at the carpet as if the fibers are going to magically unravel!
