Where has the month gone? Oh my goodness, I cannot believe Cameron has been here a month already! We love him more than words and he is growing so very fast! He is starting to smile and coo now which is so cute to see.
I took him to his one month appointment and he already weighs 11 lbs! Here are his stats:
Weight 11.7 lbs 91%
Height 22" 91%
CRAZY that the child grew 2 inches in a month's time!
Caden is thrilled about his new role as Big Brother and loves holding him for about 2 minutes and then says, 'Mommy, Daddy, can you get Baby Cameron? He's squishing me!'
Cameron is such a 'chill' child. He barely cries and is so easy to take care of. Feed, burp, diaper and lay down and he's out.
The only problem we are encountering is his difficulty in swallowing. He gets strangled during every feeding whether it be on me or with a bottle. We spoke to Dr. Berry about it and she suggested adding 1 tsp of rice cereal per 1 oz of milk to see if the thickness would help. It definitely helped, but then he started being constipated! She ordered a swallow study from Children's Medical Center/Plano which is scheduled next week. We hope to finally get some answers! She suspects he has Dysphagia. Click HERE to read about it.
Other than that, we are just enjoying every moment with our Cam!
