Missing Cam and Date Night with Caden

My Dad came up to visit on his way to Oklahoma and he stayed with us and we had so much fun!  We ordered Chinese food and played with the boys.  He brought them these squishy balls and chocolate!  Spoiled them really good!

He offered to take Cameron back with him to Conroe so that he could hang out with GiGi, Poppa, Auntie Kay, Uncle Scott, Bella and Lane!  Why you ask?  Well, Mommy had to fly to Nashville to look for a place to live!  Grammie watched Caden while I was gone too.

On our last night together, Caden and I decided to go on a date.  I asked him where he wanted to go and told him it could be wherever he wanted!  He said, 'Oh, how about McDonald's or Steak and Shake.'  I politely declined and chose Fridays!

Showings and Keeping Out of the House

We had to get pretty creative to find fun things to do to keep out of the house while it showed.  My phone would get texts from the showing agency and I would respond Yes/No to that showing date and time.  By Friday I was getting triple requests for the same time slot.  I called my realtor to ask if that was possible and she said, 'Are you kidding me?  I cannot tell you the last time I've had this must interest in a home!'  Mom and my work paid off!

Caden's School Program

I had a blast at Caden's school program.  The theme was:

They sang songs about everything that they do in Kindergarten.  It was sooooo very cute!

Caden had me buy him some sunglasses because he said he needed to wear sunglasses and a cap for the final song.  I loved that just where I picked to sit happen to be in perfect position to watch him strut his stuff!  I think he did great!

When he came home, we had a surprise for him.  Although Daddy was unable to go, Caden got a goodie bag full of Mario toys and candy and a Dallas Stars balloon!  Great job Caden!

Staging to Sell

As I mentioned in another post, Mom helped us get the house ready to sell.  The realtor suggested we switch the playroom to the sun room and make our 'playroom' a sitting area.  Wow, what an undertaking that was!

We listed the house on a Thursday morning and had 32 showings between Friday and Sunday and 4 offers that same weekend!  We are happy to report that we close on April 4th and will be leaving Texas on Saturday, April 6th for Nashville!

Valentine's Day

Mom came up to help us stage the house and get ready to list it.  We had a great time despite staying up until after 2 a.m. each night.

Mom, as Tim and I told you, we COULD NOT have done any of this without you!  You and I rocked it!  We had an awesome garage sale and sold almost $500 worth of junk!

GiGi brought us a cookie cake for Valentine's Day and it was delicious!

Daddy was very sneaky and left presents and cards for the boys for Valentine's Day so they could open them while he was in TN.

After dropping Caden off at school it was time for Cameron to open his gift from Daddy!  It was a monkey!  Of course!

Daddy Got the Job!

Well Tim got the job at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville!  He is the new Assistant Director of Safety/Security!

Unfortunately Tim had to report to Nashville on February 11th!
