An Afternoon at the Park

Yesterday after I picked Caden up from school we decided to go play at the park.  For once he was the only kid there and got free reign over the place!

I took some cute pictures of him having such a great time.

I love the sun coming through on this one!

He was letting me pick which slide he should go down!

He was saying CHEESE in this one.  I cannot believe how grown up my Baby Caden is!

I know God made all creatures but good grief there are some ugly ducks that is for sure!  Caden spotted this one and decided to chase it!

I'm not sure if ducks bite (we never had them growing up, we were more of a cows and horses family) but I told him they do so this was as close as he got to the 'ugly duck' before I stopped him!

Yesterday I caught Caden singing so I asked him to do it again and he actually did!  I love our Cade Man!

A Date With Diddy!

Saturday Jamie had to go to a baby shower so we got to keep Cassidy!  She and Caden ate lunch together and then both went down for naps so we didn't get to play with her long.  She's such a cutie and Caden had so much fun letting her play with all his toys!

Tornado DRILL!

Caden's teacher called me last night to let me know that the school would be having a tornado drill  today and to prepare Caden.  He, like his Auntie Kay, hates loud noises.  He loves the trash truck but runs crying when he hears it dumping the bins or containers.  So last night Tim and I 'tested' our home alarm system so he could hear how loud the alarm would be.  We taught him to walk over and lay down in a ball and put his hands behind his head.  We thought it was so cute how serious he took it!  This morning we practiced 2 more times before Daddy took him to school.  I heard from Mrs. Farouk that he did great, however, the school decided not to use the alarm!  ALL THAT PRACTICE!

Labor Day Parade

Sunday night Grammie kept Caden and we had such a great time going shopping on our own and out to dinner and watching a movie at home. We miss him when he's gone, but he had a blast with Grammie!

Labor Day we picked up Grammie and Caden and headed to the Garland Labor Day Parade. We took Caden last year Click HERE and it was soooo incredibly hot! This year the nice breeze was blowing and it felt amazing! Caden had a great time!

Here he is taking a picture of himself! Not too bad!Daddy and Caden watching the parade! I love my guys! Waving his American Flag! He loves flags and had to wave it the entire time. We came home with a baggie full of candy that the people threw! He was in Heaven. Grammie is sitting beside him in this picture.

Afternoon With My Bestie!

Saturday Caden and I dropped Daddy off at Woodbridge to hit golf balls and we went to visit Jamie and the kiddos. We had such a great time watching the kids play and reminiscing about when we were 'childless' and weren't chasing children around! It was a great time!

Caden loved playing with Stetson and here they are stopping for a brief moment to sit in the chair. Stetson was so kind to Caden telling him to sit in the chair with him and moving over to make room!Baby Girl Cassidy had to play with the big boys too! Here she is getting on a bike with Stetson in the background! She is so grown up and fun to watch!

Here is Caden on one of the bikes that Stetson shared with him. He had so much fun!
