A Visit from GiGi and Poppa

Mom and Dad came to visit us in TN and we had the best time!!

I found a Groupon for a place called Cowboy Town which was just a short drive from our house.  We all loaded up and headed for the Cowboy Town.

They had a Cowboy 'Town' that even had a saloon!  Here is Cameron on a saddle in the saloon!  Miss Kitty took our tickets and directed us outside to play!
Here is my Dad teaching Caden how to throw a rope.  It made my heart happy to see Dad teaching him to do this.  If I had a dollar for every time I saw Dad throw a rope catching cows growing up I'd be a millionaire!

Here is Caden practicing what Poppa taught him!
Cameron of course had to get in on the action so Poppa taught him too!
 He got it!
 What a natural! LOL
Cameron had fun talking to the cow!
 'Here's my rope!'
Daddy got in on the action as well!  Look at that lasso!
Everywhere Cameron goes he attracts butterflies.  I'm convinced he sweats pure sugar water!  Here he is talking to a butterfly that landed on GiGi
After the roping lessons we sat down for a Wild West Shootout!  It was fun to see the characters and hear the shooting!
My husband and Mother thought it would be hilarious to tell them it was my birthday.  It was NOT my birthday however!  They visited us the week of July 12th!  They were singing to me and I just kept saying 'It's not my birthday!'

While GiGi and Poppa were here, Caden had to go to the dentist.  He did great!!!
Caden also earned a Game Ball from Coach Brian at the game GiGi and Poppa came to watch!
We visited Gaylord Opryland where Tim works and toured them around.
Poppa also taught Caden how to fish!  We had so much fun fishing while they were here.  I love this picture of them.
GiGi, Cameron and myself were picking blackberries and watching our guys through the woods.  Love this picture as well.
While they were in town we hit up some more fishing spots!
We visited the Jack Daniels Distillery which was super fun!  Here is Caden with Jack Daniels himself!
Mom discovered some relatives of hers were buried just 30 minutes from our house so Mom and I headed to the cemetery to see the tombstones.  So interesting!
I took Mom and Dad to the Ryman Auditorium for a tour which was really cool.  Amazing to be standing where such great artists stood and performed!

We miss them terribly and cried for a long time after they left.  Cannot wait to see them again!
