Random Caden Happenings

We have an artificial plant in the media room that Caden is IN LOVE with! We always tell him no and 'remove him from the scene of the crime', but there is something about a fake plant that the kid loves...Here's a video of the aftermath of him pulling it over...he's kicking at it like, 'Mom it just fell on me and I can't get it off!' Yeah...right!

Here's Caden with his favorite piece of the new table GiGi got him...the phone! He bangs it on the fireplace hearth, on the table, on the coffee table, then when all else fails, he eats it.

The More Noise the Better!

Caden loves to bang things around! Here he is with the lid to a Christmas container beating it on the floor! I know the video is short, but look at his eyes, he is blinking every time it hits the floor!

Since Mommy is still not feeling good I got some cute pictures of Caden and Daddy playing. Here they are wrestling on the floor.I started missing Caden and started looking for him and he was standing up watching Daddy do yard work.

So, I went to Dr. Lowry on Thursday and found out I have strep throat. Totally no fun...I think I had it as a young child, but I'm sure I was so resilient that I don't remember that I WISHED I WERE DEAD! It is the worst illness/sickness I can ever remember having. I ache all over, have had fever ranging from 100 to 102.5...You know me Mrs. Vain...well I get to the Dr's office and I ask them after I sign in if I can go ahead and go back into the exam room and lay down. Yes, me Amber! So I did and after I tell Lowry my symptoms he thought I had Mono...so he ran the culture and bam strep throat! I think I have sweat buckets. Anyway, I was good to go on Thursday after the appt. and picking Caden up from Mrs. Sarah's. He was a good boy and I stayed out of his face, but come Friday morning I was dying...I told Tim I didn't think I could even lift him out of bed I was aching so much! So he handled all the morning stuff and took him to Sarah's. His sweet Mom came over and brought me soups, Gatorade, 7-ups, etc. She also cooked dinner for us and picked Caden up and took him to her home to stay the night. I really appreciate it so much! My Mom appreciates her taking care of me too! Cheryl a.k.a. MiMi offered to do the same should we need her. I just want to say we are so blessed to have so many loving grandmothers for Caden that are so willing to do whatever it takes to help out. We love you all and hopefully I will feel better soon!

The '80's are Back!

Ask my Mom how squirmy wormy Caden is after his bath time! After I got him out and changed I was going to put his pj's on but he had other things to do...So, he started playing with Zippy the Zebra before I could get his hair combed.

'Mom, I know I wasn't born in the 80's but this is my punk-rocker phase...don't comb it.

Can you see it well enough or do I need to re-position?'

'Make sure you get all of it, I'll turn and give you a side shot.'

'Now, I'm calling my Agent to set up some business...this punk phase is totally going to catch on.'

Tim's Mom called me tonight because she said she had a feeling something was wrong because there were no postings! Well, I stayed home from work today. This 2nd Rhizotomy was a bear let me tell you. I am glad they are both over now and ready to begin my pain-free life! So, for all the grandmothers that were having withdrawals today, here are some pictures!
