More Photos from the Weekend Visit

Kari, Lane and Bella came to visit-as I mentioned in the post below-and here are some more pictures from the weekend.

We of course had to go swimming to keep cool, although the pool temperature was not much cooler than a warm bath!

Sunday we all headed to the place where Tim and Caden get their hair cuts. Lane got a hair cut while Bella and Caden ran around the shop like little monkeys or as Caden would say 'monies'! They were both in need of a nap and could not sit still. Caden was climbing on chairs, kicking a pile of hair that had been cut, bringing us all the products off the shelves. Of course Bella had to do everything Cousin Caden did. Meanwhile, Lane was a little angel getting his hair cut!
They left on Monday and called me at work and I met them at McDonald's for lunch before they headed back home. We had soooo much fun!

Caden's Haircut

Caden got his hair cut the other day so I had to take a couple of pictures. He sat in the chair just like he always does and behaved perfectly. We had to ask him where his belly button was so he would look down for her to cut the back of his hair! No, this is not his first hair cut, just Mommy's first time to take him solo!

Happy Birthday sweet Bella Blue Eyes! We love you so very much and hope you have a great Birthday. We had so much fun celebrating with you this past weekend. You are a little doll!

After coloring, we headed to Snookie's for lunch. This is a place we go to ALL the time! Caden was totally captivated by this waitress at the place. Every time she would walk by he would follow her with his eyes and just stare and smile. After about a million times of him doing that, I asked her if we could get a picture of her with him. Check out that smile!

Here is MiMi opening her gift from Caden. It was a picture of him. Correction, here is Caden opening up MiMi's gift!

Here they are with her birthday cake. Caden walked up to the cake and got so close that he got hot pink icing on his overalls! We hope you had a great birthday on Saturday Cheryl! We love you so much!

Father's Day

We went to church on Sunday and hung out in Poppa's office until time for services to start. Caden loves playing in his office. He always walks up to this picture on the table and pulls the pictures of Dad and Mom off and shows them off.

Here are Caden and Poppa doing a little pre-church service coloring.Caden insisted that Poppa hold the tablet while he colored.Once we got home we played in the pool with Daddy and then took him to dinner at El Norte near our house.

The After Party

After gifts we all came outside and the kids played in the water. They had so much fun getting wet and running through the water!

Miss Avery had to do the same thing!GiGi, Poppa and Cade Man. By the way, he wanted nothing to do with me if Poppa was around. I was cracking up at him shaking his head no when I would tell him to come see me!

Caden would run through the water and get all wet and then run over to me laughing his head off!

He was always looking to make sure Mommy was watching him get sprayed! Look at his ribs all poked out as he was sucking in!Uh oh! Caden got leaves and dirt on him!!!

My precious nephew Lane! It seems like yesterday he was turning 2 himself! He will be 6 on July 9th and I have no idea where the time went. I love you so much Lane!

We had such a great time at her party and cannot wait until next year! We love you Bella Blue Eyes!

Bella's 2nd Birthday Party

Bella had a great time at her Yo Gabba Gabba themed birthday party. Bella and the cake! Before it was cake time she was poking her fork in the cake while standing on her tip toes saying, "Cake! Please!"Is this girl excited about cake or what?!Bella with a spoonful of cake!She did not let go of the spoon while the photos were being taken!Here she is with her pink version of Caden's blue lawn mower. Caden seemed so excited that we got her one like his!She had so much fun opening her gifts!The precious little birthday girl.

Friday

This weekend Caden and I headed to Houston for Bella's 2nd Birthday party. On Friday, I brought Caden to work with me and he got to help us celebrate MiMi's birthday which was on Saturday. Mr. Glenn took us all to Snookie's and we had a great lunch and came back to the office for cake.

It was then time to head south! Caden fell asleep as we were passing through downtown.
We first stopped to visit Aunt Kay and the kids. Caden had fun playing with Bella Boo and all her toys.Later that night we headed to dinner with everyone then stopped by Kari and Scott's home that is being built to take a tour. It is beautiful!Caden had fun upstairs looking down on all of us on the first floor.
