I LOVE TRUCKS

Here is Caden this morning in his new shirt from Grammie. He would only let me snap one photo, so that's why his face is all funny! He was saying, 'No Ma'am!' when I asked him to smile!

Caden's favorite thing is his hot wheel black truck that he thinks looks just like Daddy's truck. I thought this was a perfect choice for a shirt! Thank you Grammie!

Miss Katherine's 3rd Birthday Party

We were invited to Katherine's birthday party today. Caden had fun, although he did not want to swim with everyone else. She had a great party and got a lot of cute gifts! Thank you Katherine for having us at your party! Happy 3rd Birthday!

Caden's teacher from Mother's Day Out who also watched him on Mondays and Fridays is moving to Delaware! Her husband got a Youth Pastor job and they are leaving Tuesday! I watched their daughter Lily Friday night so they could go out to dinner and she and Caden had a blast!

Sick Caden

Caden was out sick yesterday with fever, sore throat and a runny nose. We went to the Dr. and she prescribed him a decongestant that seems to be doing the trick!

Here he is last night crashed out on the couch with Daddy. He was not feeling well at all.

He is feeling better today however! We had to stay home because of the 'no school until he is fever free for 24 hours'!

He decided to try and put his shorts on his head, so Mommy helped him secure them!

Plano Balloon Festival

This evening we took Caden to see the Plano Balloon Festival. We would have taken him to the morning launch, but Mommy and Daddy were not excited about getting up at 6:00 a.m. on a Saturday! We felt like storm chasers driving all over to see them land, which by the way is my new favorite thing to watch rather than watch them take off. Here are a few we saw when we started the evening.My 2 favorite guys!

At this point, the cops and balloon staff were asking Tim to move his truck back and telling people to back up because there was a chance they were going to land on the truck or the people!

Tim handed Caden to me and jumped in his truck to move it. Needless to say, this was not where I think they planned on landing! Tim's truck had been about 2 spaces to the left of this balloon.

So I took Caden and ran backward out of the way and was snapping shots one-handed while holding him!

It was really cool to see them land right in front of us though. Caden enjoyed every minute of it!

It was finally down for the count.

We will have to do this every year. We had so much fun and Caden enjoyed all the action as well!

Chocolate Pudding!

Caden loves chocolate pudding, so I got some super cute shots of him last night while he was eating it! Jamie and Kari, you guys should love this post because of your love for chocolate! :)

Our Weekend

Our weekend has been very WET! We have had non-stop rain pretty much all day since Friday.

If you look closely, you will notice the level of the pool water is level with the ground! Our temperature gauge is floating horizontal rather than vertical.

We ventured out and took Caden to a Dallas Stars scrimmage and he had a blast. Here he is playing Caden the Rock Star before we left. The shirt is from Uncle J, Aunt Jamie, Cassidy and Stetson from his birthday! I thought it was too funny that he grabbed his guitars after I put on the tshirt!
