Our New Laundry Room

Our old laundry room was the only room with floors that we despised!  So Tim and I decided to rip out all the linoleum (Tim did all the work) and lay new tile, paint the walls and buy some new appliances!  Check out the BEFORE pictures!

This is after Tim had ripped up some of the old flooring.
The Before:
Another Before shot.
Linoleum BE GONE!
All the way down to the concrete!

New soft blue walls!
Here is the tile we chose.  It is porcelain and looks like wood planks.
New tile is laid!
 New washer and dryer!
Some 'laundry room' decor!
More decorations!
Tim's late grandmothers' washboard.
LAUNDRY!
Thank you to my awesome husband for all the hard work!  I joke with him now because before our new washer and dryer, we each did our own laundry and now I'm washing everything in sight because I'm enjoying that room so much!

Fun with Cam

Cameron is such a happy baby!  He smiles for no reason pretty much ALL the time.  I know this picture is blurry, but he was giggling as Daddy was turning him upside down!

Tim laid him on top of the couch cushions to take a picture and the cushions gave way and he slid down!  We were cracking up.  Here he is 'stuck' in the couch cushions!
Laying on Daddy sleepy and ready for bed!

Tubes for Cameron

Anyone who knows us or is family, knows that Cameron had 5 ear infections in 4 months time since January.  We were thrilled to finally get tubes for him so that he can be off antibiotics and feel better.  He is an amazingly resilient baby.  The only symptom he had ever had that prompted me to take him to the Dr. was a runny nose!  I would take him in and there would be fluid behind one or both ears.  The child has been on antibiotics longer than he's been off them in his short 6 months of life!  So on Friday we headed to the surgery center.

Here he is hanging out in the waiting room with Daddy.  Perfectly content!

Standing up sucking on his thumb!  He could not have anything to eat or drink past 2:00 am, so I woke him up at 1:30 and gave him a bottle so he would not be quite so hungry while waiting.
Sweet Caden had to come with us, since we had to be there so early!
They give him his little hospital gown and put bracelets on him and me and we waited for them to come and get him.
The procedure went very well, they drained a lot of fluid off both ears before placing the tubes.  When they called me back he was coming off the anesthesia gas and very confused and crying.  Crying is something Cameron never does so it totally broke our hearts.  I would sing to him because the Dr. said his hearing comes back before his vision when coming off the gas.  We stayed around 30 minutes after the procedure and then headed home.  Here he is post/tubes!  Totally happy, no drainage, no fever, no tugging on them!  We are so glad he is finally on the road to recovery!
