Work Before Play

This morning Caden had to work a little before leaving for Daycare to play.

'Okay Mommy, I just need to push this wagon out of my way so I have more space.'

'Ahh...forget it, I'll just push my Mickey Mouse toy...I LOVE THIS THING!'
'I'm busy building things Mommy...what can I do for you?'

'Don't you need to make a phone call Mommy?'

By the way, the shirt he is wearing is a shirt his Poppa got for him when he was about a year old!

Okay guys...here's another plug for another friend of mine! I will be meeting my friend Heather this morning to get another 'picture' piece of jewelry/key chain from her. Last night Tim was pushing Caden on his Mickey toy through the office, living room and then the kitchen. I think Caden was having fun, what do you think?

Feeding the Fish

I was out sick a few days this week, so Grammie picked Caden up from daycare on Tuesday and took him to her house. He had a blast visiting her fish in the backyard and walking through her English Garden! Thanks Grammie for taking care of Cade Man for the afternoon!

Candy's Candies

Anyone who knows me knows I love sweets! I have mentioned Candyce before, but I need to plug her company one more time! I ordered more truffles (shocker, it's like my 3rd or 4th order of those) and some Oatmeal Carmelitas! WOWWWWWWWWWWWWW is all I have to say about the Carmelitas! You all seriously need to stop by her site (I have it on the bottom right side of mine, but for all you people that want the easy way, click HERE.)

Breakfast with Grammie

Today Grammie needed to have her tires rotated and balanced so we picked her up and had breakfast together! Thanks for breakfast Grammie! We then all 3 went shopping and Grammie bought this book for Caden. When you open the front cover it sings 'Here Comes Peter Cottontail!' Super cute! Caden loves it!

Happy Happy Birthday Mom! We love you so very much and cannot wait to celebrate with you this weekend! I am so blessed to have such a loving and caring Mom that is not only my Mom but my best friend. I enjoy talking to you numerous times a day and I do not know what I would do without you. You are such a fantastic inspiration to me not only as a 'friend' but as a mother and grandmother. Caden loves his GiGi so very much and we wish we could see you more often! Thank you for being my best friend and teaching me that when someone said I had 'Big Eyes' that it was a compliment and not a put down! You have taught me so many things that I plan to pass on to Caden. I love you Mom.

My Guys Mowing

Caden loves his mower from MiMi. I had to fill it up with bubbles 4 times yesterday as he 'mowed' the yard. Then it was time for Daddy to really 'mow' the yard! Here's a video of Caden helping Daddy mow. He followed right behind him in the same pattern as Tim would mow!

Well, It Started Out as a Nice Lunch

My best friend Jamie and myself headed to Pei Wei to have lunch yesterday. We love this place and have gone there often on our lunch adventures! We had a fabulous lunch and caught up on each other. Jamie looks amazing pregnant with her precious baby girl I can't wait to meet! Anyway, I am such a people watcher and if you are a Pei Wei regular you know that you stand in line to order, then they give you the little number for your table and you go and sit down and wait for the waiter to bring your food. As we were eating, a man and woman entered through the correct door at Pei Wei and looked around as if they had never eaten there before and finally came over and sat next to us at a table. The man had a t-shirt on and was wearing a long sleeved shirt that was unbuttoned. They both sat down and he stood back up and took the shirt off and draped it over the back of his chair (this is when I believe the crime was committed). He then stood up, along with the woman, and put his shirt back on and they walked out of Pei Wei very quickly. I thought it was odd, but never said anything. I thought perhaps they were mad no one came to take their order or something. Well around 6:00 pm yesterday, my best bud calls me and tells me her wallet was stolen at Pei Wei out of her purse as it was draped across the back of her chair. I know this criminal will never see this blog, but I THINK YOU ARE A JERK! This is a family blog or I would say something worse! What a hassle for Jamie to have to call all the credit card people, get a new license, etc! Anyway, lesson learned for me, never to drape my purse across the back of my chair! I'm so sorry this happened to you Jamie!

Popcorn Shirt

While in Canton, Mom and I bought the cutest shirts called 'Popcorn' shirts. You may have heard of them, but if not, here is one I just got that I ordered online. The contact information should you want it, is below. They are around $10 each and hold their shape beautifully. They are so fun to wear and one size fits all and don't let the size of them fool you, they stretch to whatever shape you are.

Canton/Kari's Birthday Weekend

This past weekend my sister Kari and my Mom came up for a dual purpose! We celebrated Kari's birthday with an all girls weekend and the three of us went to Canton to shop! We had a blast!

Playing at MiMi's

Caden stayed at MiMi's house on Saturday while Kari, Mom and I went to Canton. We had so much fun and Caden did as well. I will post the Canton/weekend pictures later on.
